The Columbia Flyers Amateur baseball Association
was Founded by Albert Wilcox in 1974 as an independent Traveling baseball
team from Columbia County New York, for ages 13-15. The team played Teams
from NY, MA, CT, VT and even Nova Scotia Canada. The team is currently
in The Eastern NY Mickey Mantle League(16 and under) mainly 15 and 16 year
olds. The League is made up of teams from all over the capital district.
The Flyers are
made up of players from the school districts
of Chatham, Ichabod Crane, New Lebanon, Taconic Hills, Germantown,
and occasionally Hudson, Berlin and also several small private schools. |
